The China International Information Center (CIIC) - China.cn, the official website of the State Council''s Information Office, launched its real estate channel - House.china.cn on Saturday.

It is the first government site focused on the real estate industry.

At the launching ceremony, a CIIC spokesman pledged to build it into the country''s largest Internet portal for the fledgling industry.

China.cn, one of the largest news sites in the country, works in 10 languages and everyday it receives 16 million visits, with over 60 percent coming from abroad. -Xinhua News
